In true DIY fashion, “On The Steps of the Temple” was self-recorded and -produced by members Ryan Wenzel (guitars, keys) and Rich Corle (drums). Featuring 53 minutes of towering riffs, crushing drums and hauntingly powerful compositions, the album ventures through a variety of sonic landscapes, effortlessly combining post-rock with melodic metal. The album’s cover art, pictured above, features a painting by the iconic ancient Chinese landscape artist Li Cheng.
