I Fleshgod Apocalypse hanno rivelato tramite la loro pagina Facebook la copertina del prossimo album, King. L’autore è l’artista Eliran Kantor, che ha già collaborato in passato con band del calibro di Testament, Iced Earth, Sodom, Kataklysm, Hatebreed, Atheist, Incantation. A proposito di questa cover, il cantante e chitarrista della band Tommaso Riccardi ha affermato:
“This work of art is nothing more than the picture of an old world coming to an end. The author, Eliran Kantor, perfectly interpreted the concept behind the album. The King represents the last stand of integrity and justice in a court infested by traitors, villains, perverts, parasites and prostitutes.
In an era that looks more like the Middle Ages than the 21st Century, we felt the necessity to express our indignation for the constant loss of values and our despise for mediocrity and commercial use of superstitions.”
“Quest’opera d’arte è nulla più che l’immagine di un vecchio mondo arrivato alla fine. L’autore, Eliran Kantor, ha perfettamente interpretato il concept dell’album. King, registrato al Kick Recording Studio e al 16th Cellar Studio di Roma e mixato e masterizzato da Jens Borgen al celebre Fascination Street Studio (Svezia), uscirà ad inizio 2016 per Nuclear Blast.
