La band neozelandese Ulcerate ha recentemente annunciato la release del suo settimo album, intitolato Cutting the Throat of God.
L’album è stato registrato tra settembre e dicembre 2023 dal batterista Jamie Saint Merat che ha curato anche mixing e i visuals. Il mastering è invece curato dal ben noto Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna, Russian Circles, Tribulation etc). Cutting the Throat of God esplora un tema lirico coeso incentrato sulla rottura della moralità, sul delicato confine tra depravazione ed estremismo e sull’irreversibile discesa nell’oscurità.
Una prima traccia intitolata ‘The Dawn is Hollow,’ e i dettagli del pre-order saranno rivelati il 14 marzo, mentre l’album sarà disponibile su Debemur Morti Productions in formato digitale, CD e vinile dal 14 giugno .
