Come ogni anno, in coincidenza con le festività natalizie, ecco arrivare le tradizionali classifiche di fine anno, i nostri GOTR Awards del 2012! Anche questo è stato un anno ricco di soddisfazioni per noi, sia dal punto di vista degli eventi organizzati (Ulcerate su tutti, ma anche Deafheaven e Cephalic Carnage!) sia dal punto di vista dello sviluppo del sito. Siete sempre di più a seguirci, noi stessi ci stupiamo a volte a vedere le statistiche, e di questo vi ringraziamo di cuore e speriamo di potervi offrire un “servizio” ancora migliore nel 2013. Le idee son sempre tante, ma non tutte sono realizzabili! Almeno la redazione si sta un po’ stabilizzando: c’è sempre gente che viene e gente che va (un saluto particolare, in questa occasione, all’essenziale Dave e al caro willbutcher), ma in questi Awards vedrete molti nomi che erano presenti l’anno scorso. Album più deludente: Six Feet Under – Undead (a quanto pare questo disco sta piacendo un sacco praticamente ovunque… a mio parere, l’esaltazione generale per il fatto che, finalmente, c’è qualcosa di appena decente targato Chris Barnes a distanza di lustri dalla sua militanza coi Cannibal Corpse mi pare decisamente eccessivo…)
