Il combo black/death metal statunitense Cast The Stone ha annunciato di aver ricomposto la line-up e di aver siglato un contratto con Agonia Records. La band, formata nel 2002 dal chitarrista Mark Kloeppel (Misery Index), dal bassista Derek Engemann (ex-Cattle Decapitation, Scour) e dal batterista Jesse Schobel (Legend, ex-Scour) prima che tutti i membri si dedicassero ai propri progetti. Oggi, con Andrew Huskey al microfono, i quattro si preparano a pubblicare un nuovo album entro il 2018.
La band dichiara di non considerarsi un supergruppo, ma un progetto originale che ha influenzato la produzione successiva dei vari membri, come la discografia dei Misery Index o i due celebri album dei Cattle Decapitation Monolith Of Inhumanity (2012) e The Anthropocene Extinction (2015). Questo il commento:
