I thrasher tedeschi Space Chaser pubblicheranno il prossimo 25 maggio uno split album con gli olandesi Distillator. La release, prodotta da This Charming Man Records, conterrà quattro brani inediti e una cover per ogni band, per un risultato che farà la gioia dei fan del più furioso metal anni ’80. Fra i brani proposti dal quintetto berlinese si trova “Waves”, da cui è stato tratto un videoclip presentato in anteprima per Grind On The Road. Questo il commento della band:
“Questi sono gli Space Chaser nella loro forma migliore. “Waves” è probabilmente la miglior canzone che abbiamo mai scritto e merita il miglior video che abbiamo mai girato. L’incredibile quantità di sofferenza e dolore che è ci è voluta per rendere questo delirio sci-fi ha del tutto ripagato, e ciò che vedete è un breve film pieno d’azione che ritrae alla perfezione ciò che la band rappresenta. I riferimento alla cultura pop che potreste, o non potreste, notare sono del tutto casuali.”

German sci-fi thrashers Space Chaser are going to release a new split album with Distillator on May, 25 via This Charming Man Records. Today Grind On The Road premieres the official videoclip of “Waves”, taken from the forthcoming CD/LP split. The band comments:
“This is Space Chaser at our best. Waves is probably the best song we’ve ever written and it deserves no less than the best video clip we’ve ever made. The tremendous amount of suffering and pain it took to make this sci-fi extravaganza happen totally payed off and what you see is a action packed short film that perfectly conveys everything the band stands for. Popcultural references you may or may not spot are completely coincidental.”
