Zeal & Ardor, vera e propria new sensation della musica estrema europea, porta il suo originale mix di black metal, blues e gospel allo step successivo con la nuova “Don’t You Dare”. Composta successivamente all’uscita dell’EP d’esordio Devil Is Fine, la traccia è stata eseguita live al Couleur 3 Studio di Losanna (Svizzera), esibizione dalla quale è stato tratto il live video pubblicato in anteprima per Noisey. Alla medesima testata, il mastermind Manuel Gagneux ha rilasciato il seguente commento:
“The idea of something so horrible that merely looking at it will end you is fascinating to me. ‘Don’t You Dare’ thematically plays with biblical demons as well as Lovecraftian elements that lend themselves well to this idea. Since I wrote it after getting the band together, it’s not on the album, but will be performed on the upcoming tour. I hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoy playing it.”
In seguito al grande successo del progetto, a cui abbiamo dedicato diversi spazi sulle nostre pagine, gli Zeal & Ardor hanno annunciato le date di un tour europeo, a cui si aggiunge l’apparizione al festival Psycho Vegas di Las Vegas.
