In anteprima per Grind On The Road l’album d’esordio omonimo dei Moto Toscana, che verrà rilasciato il 31 agosto 2018 via Tonzonen Records. Così commenta la band stoner/sludge tedesca:
“Quest’album è soprattutto il risultato di due cose: prima di tutto la fortuna è stata dalla nostra parte! Secondariamente, non abbiamo accettato compromessi mentre sviluppavamo il nostro suono. Specialmente in termini di tempo. Sapevamo di voler combinare il suono dei synth dell’elettronica live con con il suono diretto ma pesante usato nel doom o prog metal con le accordature basse. A rendere questo tentativo speciale, estenuante e avventuroso è stata la restrizione del suonare tutto esclusivamente con un basso elettrico e una batteria acustica, e del poter riprodurre tutto anche dal vivo. La voce pulita d’altro canto gioca il ruolo di un secondo strumento melodico. E insieme voce e basso creano un suono armonicamente aperto, che genera una tensione con i suoni massicci di basso e batteria.”

Today Gring On The Road features the streaming premiere of Moto Toscana, new album by German stoner/sludge trio Moto Toscana. The release is due to be available on August 31 by Tonzonen Records.
“This album is the result primary of two things: First of all chance was on our side! And second of all, we made no compromises in developing the sound. Especially in terms of time. We knew, that we wanted to combine the sound of the syntheziser inspired live electronica scene and the straight forward but heavy sounds as used in downtuned prog or doom metal. What made this attempempt special, exhausting and adventurous was the restriction, that there should be nothing used but ONE electric bass and acoustic drums and that we should be able to reproduce the recorded sound on stage. The clean voice on the other hand plays the role of a second melody instrument. And together, voice and bass create an harmonicaly open sound which generates a tension to the massive sounds of the bass and the drums.”
